There is a big superhero cameo coming to the Snyder Cut of Justice League, which lands on HBO Max on March 18. However, it won’t be Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Green Lantern.
A quote from a recent Vanity Fair piece on the upcoming Justice League director’s cut explains that Snyder “reshot the ending with a hero cameo that will blow hardcore fans’ minds.” Of course, many people are wondering if that cameo will be Reynolds. The actor played Hal Jordan in 2011’s Green Lantern, which did not win over critics and fans. He took to Twitter to let everyone know that it isn’t him.
It’s not me. But what a cool pirate flag to cameo as Hal. Maybe it’s another GL? But for me, the suit stays in the closet. I mean, computer. https://t.co/QU4NRVadiz

One of DC Comics’ space police popping up in HBO Max’s Justice League is very likely, considering that the streaming service is working on a Green Lantern TV series, first announced in October 2019, seven months before the launch of the streaming service. The show will focus on two Green Lanterns from Earth, most likely one of the already established DC Comics Earthlings: Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, Simon Baz, or Jessica Cruz. Jordan and Stewart seem like the most-likely candidates. No release date has been revealed for the show, but Season 1 will consist of 10, one-hour episodes.
