A new week means a new set of deals at Best Buy, both in-store and online. This week’s ad is fairly light in terms of how many individual games are on sale, but if you’re in the market to pre-order upcoming games or in need of new hardware, you can save some money. Let’s dive in.
Nintendo Switch owners looking to add more Joy-Cons to their setup can snag a pair for $70, which is $10 off their normal price. Potential Switch owners who buy the console and one of the cardboard Labo kits can save up to $40 by buying them together.
If you buy an Xbox One, you can either save $10 on an extra controller or save $10 on a three- or six-month Xbox Live Gold membership. And whether you buy a new console or not, if you pick up a three-month Xbox Live Gold membership at Best Buy, you’ll get a $10 gift card for the Microsoft Store. On the PS4 side of things, you can save $5 on a DualShock 4 controller, bringing the price down to $60.
Now that Best Buy has nixed the Gamers Club Unlocked program, the retailer has replaced it with a deal that gets you $10 in rewards for pre-ordering select games. The games on the list happen to be some of the biggest titles coming out this year and next, so take a look to see if you want to pre-order any of them. They include Madden NFL 19, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Kingdom Hearts III, Fallout 76, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and more.
And if you’re ready to retire your copy of Madden NFL 18, you can trade it in for its regular trade-in value, but you’ll also get a $10 coupon for Madden NFL 19, which is coming out August 10.
