News: The Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP mode goes into open beta later this month

The teams in Ghost War will be able to choose from six specialised classes such as assault, scout, sniper, and tank. Teams will do battle across five unique open-world maps, based on jungles, mountainous regions and forests. Ubisoft says it’s imperative that each team responds to the environment around them by planning their attacks accordingly, as the weather and time-of-day continually change.

Ghost War will include new mechanics, such as sound markers that help with locating enemies’ positions, and suppressing fire, which can affect vision whilst under heavy fire. These mechanics have been implemented to put a focus on teamwork and communication.
