Is Dr DisRespect the best Twitch Streamer?

If you traverse back in time to 1993, I had just scuttled out of my mother’s womb, crying ferociously and petrified of the mere thought of what inhabits this vast world we call Earth. However, across the Atlantic Ocean, the most ruthless specimen was dominating and overthrowing 200+ chubby cheek wannabe gamers with boyish nipples at NBA Jam right in front of the killer whale exhibit at Marine World. Establishing himself as an international video gaming superstar. Dr DisRespect’s life inhabits nothing but success, becoming a two-time, back-to-back superstar in the online gaming community throughout 1993 and 1994. Ladies and gentlemen, he’s just getting warmed up, situated comfortably high above the mountain, yet he’s only half way up. He’s the face of Twitch, a 6’-8” gaming megastar that can soar high into the atmosphere at astronomical heights with his 37” vertical leap. Absorbing the google prototypes with built in LCD, LED, 1080p, 3D Sony technology, the bulletproof steel black mullet and the Ethiopian poisonous caterpillar identified as Slick Daddy. Dr DisRespect occupies a ruthless amalgamation of violence, speed and momentum which granted him the Streamer of the Year Award in 2017.

The Mastermind behind the Dr DisRespect Character

Guy Beahm is the architect behind the eccentric personality of Dr DisRespect. A heightened and over exaggerated character of the generic stereotypical male gamer who believes they are the best under any circumstances. Accusing lag, desynch or cheating if they are eradicated. In the documentary titled Guy Beahm: Dead Serious About Gaming – by David Silverberg”. Beahm states the Dr DisRespect character stemmed from when he decided to change his Xbox 360 gamertag from “Diarrhoea Panic”. He conversed with his friends as they would present outlandish ludicrous suggestions, however, after time had elapsed, Dr DisRespect entered Beahm’s awareness. Thus, the initiation of the character and the excitement enhanced to obtain a recording device (The Dazzle). A week later, Guy Beahm presented Dr DisRespect to the world.

WE WENT THROUGH A WATERSLIDE OF SUCCESS. AND ALL THESE PUNK KIDS WERE AT THE BOTTOM, IN THE LITTLE KIDDY POOL, NOT KNOWING THAT A 6 FOOT 8…OH MY GOD…FREAK OF NATURE IS COMING DOWN THE WATER SLIDE AT 95 MPH, BUTT NAKED FULLY VASOLINED FROM HEAD TO TIPPY TOE. READY TO KNOCK EVERY SINGLE LITTLE KID OUT…That’s the difference between me and everyone else. Big difference, isn’t it?” – Dr DisRespect

Guy Beahm. Innovator, Triumphant, Level Designer.

Back in early 2011, Guy Beahm took a hiatus from the Dr DisRespect character to pursue his passion of being involved within the gaming industry. Beahm was working temporary at Stanford University with no experience or education connected to the gaming industry. However, with his experience and knowledge of growing a successful Facebook, Twitter, YouTube channel and partnering up with Machinima. He understood how to engage with an audience, adopt and acquire feedback effectively which ultimately led him to become Sledgehammer Games’ community manager. Sledgehammer Games developed games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and recently, Call of Duty: WWII. Beahm states, “It’s pretty crazy to go from a small, small 5 subscriber channel, to becoming a Machinima premiere director and then in a matter of months jumping into the deep end of the pool on the biggest video game in the history of video games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, its absolutely nuts…I’m still trying to fathom it”. In March 2012, Beahm was promoted to level designer where he designed multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare which include: Solar, Horizon, Instinct, Ascend, Recovery, Sideshow, Site 244 and Quarantine.

Dr DisRespect is the most entertaining Twitch Streamer.

8 years later since Dr DisRespect kicked the door down at YouTube headquarters and ran at the YouTube big shots head first with full momentum drenched in Vaseline. He’s now arguably the most entertaining Twitch streamer. Reigniting and revitalising his YouTube channel with incredible editing by Alex, his assistant. Amassing just under 400,000 subscribers. Accumulating over 2 million followers on Twitch and the forefront of various articles such as Rolling Stone, ESPN, Polygon and Newsweek. He’s also been a featured guest on the H3 Podcast. Dominating the online gaming community with his unmatched skill set on games such as, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, H1Z1, Radical Heights and Fortnite. Dr DisRespect dominated Fortnite so viciously and sadistically that an official anthem was initiated with the assistance of Starcadian.

Dr DisRespect’s brutality and dominance was on full show when he shot one of his associates in the head and ransacked his body for equipment during PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Greene handled the situation by temporary banning Dr DisRespect from the game. Although, The Doc would retaliate in his notorious ruthless approach by threatening to kick him in the chest.

The illustrious Champions Club continue to show their appreciation with the firmest of handshakes for The Doc. Submitting their favourite moments from his streams, creating artwork and even creating a 3D model of Dr DisRespect in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Recently Dr DisRespect began his campaign of a Charity of the Month stream. His inaugural charity stream raised just under $18,000 for Operation Supply Drop, smashing his expectations of raising $1,000 within 15 minutes.
