It’s been a great year for VR, with huge game releases and the launch of the Oculus Quest 2. And while Black Friday 2020 doesn’t have a lot in the way of VR headset deals, it’s still a great time to jump in. The Quest 2 may be in its early days, but it already has a huge library of great games, and there are several Black Friday VR game sales live right now–Half-Life: Alyx is discounted by 25% during the latest Steam sale. Yes, if you’re looking to get into virtual reality, now’s a great time to save money on a lot of the technology’s best games.
There are a couple of VR headsets on sale as well. Microsoft has two of the best VR headsets for $100 off: the HTC Vive Cosmos Elite VR headset for $799 and the HTC Vive Cosmos VR headset for $599. Both are capable of playing every VR game on Steam in addition to those included in HTC’s Viveport Infinity service. If you’ve been looking to play great titles like Half-Life: Alyx, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Pistol Whip, then either of the Cosmos headsets are a great choice.
